The Tokyo Metropolitan Small Business Center is taking the following efforts to properly handle personal information and to live up to the trust of users while ensuring safety regarding the collection, use, and management of such information.

1. Proper measures are in place to maintain and safeguard information which identifies specific individuals (hereinafter "personal information") such as addresses, names, telephone numbers, E-mail addresses from leakage, theft, loss, destruction, etc.
2. When collecting personal information, our policy is to accept information provided willingly from users themselves after clearly stating the purpose of such collection and clarifying what information is necessary for achieving the objective.
3. Personal information provided by users is used within the scope of the previously clarified collection purpose. Personal information is not used within the Tokyo Metropolitan Small Business Center for purposes other than collection and not provided to parties outside of the Tokyo Metropolitan Small Business Center except as specified in the Personal Information Protection Guidelines (PDF: 27k, link to the Tokyo Metropolitan Small Business Center website).
4. Proper management efforts are taken for protecting personal information by placing people in charge of managing the handling of such information.
5. The Tokyo Metropolitan Small Business Center will react promptly when requested by users to no longer disclose or use their personal information or when requested to correct or erase errors appearing in disclosed information.
6. The Tokyo Metropolitan Small Business Center educates all of its employees about the security necessary for handling personal information and plans to improve information security awareness.
